JUROR

Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia is the founder, cultivator, and creative visionary behind Content Magazine, a photographer, and a San Jose native.

Garcia's passion for photography ignited during his high school years at Silver Creek High School, where he began taking yearbook photos. This early enthusiasm led him to the Academy of Art University, where he pursued formal studies before transitioning to a career as a freelance photographer specializing in model portfolios. The flexibility of freelance work afforded Daniel the opportunity to delve into street photography across San Jose and San Francisco, honing his craft, experimenting with different formats, and capturing a diverse array of subjects. The dynamic interactions and connections he forms with people have always been a cornerstone of his work, ultimately inspiring him to launch Content Magazine in 2008. His goal was to celebrate and elevate local creatives with an international flair. Through his photography, Daniel offers intimate glimpses into the lives of others, capturing everyday moments that reveal the rich diversity and expansive scope of his subjects.
