Jessica Richter holds a MA in Education as well as a MA in Expressive Arts Therapy. Jessica is a painter and mixed media artist. Her work is informed by her expressive arts background and many years “painting from the Source” a process developed by her mentor, Aviva Gold. She considers herself a teacher who makes art. She teaches art to children in Bay Area schools and has worked for the San Jose Museum of Art and Arts4All, as well as for Go Girls Camps. She was formerly a middle school Social Studies teacher and has worked with children and teens from 2-20. Jessica also offers Art and Expressive Arts classes to children, families and adults through her home-based Big Circle Art Studio, though she has focused full time on teaching in schools for the past several years. Jessica is a painter and mixed media artist.
