We invite artists to showcase their creative vision in our upcoming Open Themed Watercolor Exhibition. This exhibition celebrates the versatility and vibrancy of watercolor as a medium, providing a platform for artists to explore and express any subject matter or concept that inspires them.

From abstract explorations to realistic depictions, personal stories to imaginative worlds, we welcome submissions that highlight the depth, emotion, and technique achievable in watercolor. Whether you are an emerging artist or an experienced professional, this is your opportunity to share your unique voice and connect with a community of fellow creators and art enthusiasts.

Ribbons awards will be announced at the reception. This event is free and open to the public.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists (members & non-members) and artistic works.

ENTRY FEE
$20 for Members
$30 for Non-Members.
$10 Every additional submission (regardless of Membership status)

SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Friday, February 28th, 2025

SELECTION NOTIFICATION DATE
Friday, March 7th, 2025 (by email)

ART INTAKE
Accepted works must be hand-delivered to PAL on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 (12pm - 4pm only)

ART PICK UP
Exhibited works must be picked up at PAL at the end of the exhibit on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 (12am - 4pm only)

AWARDS
Ribbons will be awarded to works selected by the juror

SALES COMMISSION
Members 60/40 (in favor of the artist)
Non-Members 50/50 (in favor of the artist)

GUIDELINES
Measurements are based on the piece’s longest side, including the frame.

  • Size of work is limited to 36” wide by 36” tall, including the frame. Please note, that anything submitted over 36” will not be accepted into the show.

  • All 2D work must be ready to hang on a wire.

  • All 2D work must be framed or on gallery-wrapped canvas with finished edges.

  • All work must be labeled on the front with the title and artist’s name (post-it or paper taped to frame work well).

  • All works must be dry to the touch.
