Join us for an exciting evening as we celebrate Sam Marks solo exhibition The Quarantine Series! The Quarantine Series confronts the anxiety, isolation, and uncertainty brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. To represent our collective anxiety and my personal experience with it, Sam painted acrylic onto salvaged plywood in a gestural, expressive, and intuitive process. He then drew an intricate and overlapping grid on the dried paint.
During the reception Sam will be drawing repetitively as viewers make their way through the space, answering questions and providing a behind-the-scenes look at his process. So don’t miss out on what will be an exciting and unique experience!
