About Melanie M. Brannan:

Melanie M Brannan has been an artist all her life. The early working years were spent as art director at major advertising agencies. In 1985, she founded her graphic design company, Brannan Design, in Dallas, Texas, working with a wide range of clients, from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies.

In 2008, Melanie went back to her first love, painting. She is presently an fine artist and teacher, working exclusively with GOLDEN acrylics. Her work has been exhibited in many solo shows in Dallas, and juried exhibitions across in the U.S. Melanie also teaches classes and workshops for adults and children. Her workshops have been held in Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, New Mexico, France, and Italy,

Melanie paints with her heart as much as her brush. Her current series is called, “Serenity," which contains contemporary abstract landscapes. She finds peace in painting and hope that people who view the pieces might experience the same feeling of peace. Melanie finds inspiration from nature and the masters such as Cezanne, Van Gogh, and Matisse.

In 2017, Melanie was selected to become a Certified Educator for GOLDEN Artist Colors, for the North Texas region. After a week of intense training in New Orleans, she joined the elite group of international artist to be able to teach workshops utilizing all of their acrylic products.
